Just hanging out

Emily put her sunglasses on Tiger so that the sun wouldn't be in his eyes. We all thought they looked pretty good on him.
Tiger went for a little swim in the horse trough to cool off.
Emily watching Tiger swim, we couldn't convince her to get in there with him.
Gavin is such a great big brother giving his little sis a ride on the motor bike.

Rusty, just chillin.

Jenn's School

We went with my dad to take a horse over for a demonstration at Jennifer's school. The kids always have so much fun, some of them have never seen a real horse in person before, they love the opportunity to hear about horses and they even get to pet it.

1st Annual 3G Ranch campout

This past Friday night, we had our first annual 3G ranch camping trip. I have never slept in a tent (I have slept in stock trailers), so this was a new experience for me and the kids. There were several families: us, Jenn and Brandon and their kids, the Johnsons (from Jenn's Ward), and the Powells (also from Jenn's ward). We had so much fun, but I also came to realize that there is a lot of work to this whole camping thing.

Lauren and Emily playing in the tent, which became strictly forbidden by the end of the first evening because they completely tore up the tent.

Janessa and Jenn just taking it easy. I wonder if Janessa realized I wouldn't let her do much of anything. She was making me really nervous since she is already 2 weeks past her due date. We all thought she was some kind of a super woman for being out there in the first place.
Cooper, Gavin and Lee. 3 boys+1400 acres=lots of trouble.
one longhorn, one aggie, and one not sure what's going on:)
Okay, so Brandon way overdid everything. He brought enough food to feed an army. We could have lasted out there in the wilderness for years.
We also realized we were among serious campers when Eric and Janessa pulled their tent out(the big tent in the middle). We called theirs the Marriot, it had two rooms, tons of windows and an air mattress.
The kiddos were in serious need of a bath at the end.
Addie thought she would clean up the campsite for us. Keep going sweetie, there's lots more.
These two and their cooking towels, crack me up!
Are they sure they know what their doing?

Cooper with sleepy eyes.
Once again, going a little above and beyond. Brandon cooked 56 eggs, and an entire bag of cheese.
They tasted really good though!
Jenn (the little weasel), didn't sleep in the tents with us, she went back to the house, but came back first thing in the morning.
Emma, Brandon, and Troy and Zoey
the rugrats
I strategically placed the 4-wheeler there so that no one would set their tent close to ours, it was a good idea, until I had to walk all the way out their after Troy told a scary story back by the fire. You know how good I deal with scary. Thanks Troy!
