Papa and Nama Romrell in Texas continued

We took them to look at different parts of the ranch. This is a neat little spot down by one of the creeks. Looks pretty cool with the granite and the cactus.

Glen showed them some good ole fashioned southern hospitality.
We gathered and worked more cattle. Quinn roped and drug calves on Rusty, such a good little horse.

We did a lot of waiting on Glen.
What a good looking crew

Two peas in a pod! They became good buds, real fast.

Papa and Nama Romrell in Texas!

Papa and Nama, aka DeLoy and Mary Lin, came down to see us from Idaho this past week. Quinn was able to take some time off of work and we were able to show them around the hill country and act like tourists.
We had to go to Luckenbach.....
......take pictures in the bluebonnets.....

model our Easter outfits.....

do a little easter egg hunting.....

........with the cousins.

One thing we got to do a lot of was work cattle. We were able to gather, sort, and spray several different pastures. Gavin and Nama working cattle at the Althaus place.

Cade and Jess watching the boys spray cattle

Papa and Quinn working the chute.

We had to take a trip down to turtle hole.....

....and do a little swimming and jumping off the rock.

We got cattle up on the ranch.......

....... and Cade counted cows so we could sort out the dry cows.

Papa on Mike, getting cattle up

The crew

We of course had to find some bluebonnets and take pictures in them. This was a nice big patch of them back on the Althaus/Davis road. We really did look like a bunch of tourists, but everyone needs a bluebonnet picture in the spring.

Grandpa and Nama with the grandkids in the flowers.
